WHAT DOES AN EXPERT LOOK LIKE?
We have a proven track record of inserting undercover officers into an organisation for either long or short-term deployment we will gather intelligence and evidence of theft, fraud, criminality in the workplace including drugs, sabotage and intentional criminal damage as well as identifying poor working practices, environmental breaches and breach of risk mitigation practices initiated by the organisation. We will build a cover story for our officers to ensure integrity of insertion into the organisation and extraction leaving no footprint of their employment. Following long-term proven police methods of utilising undercover officers, we ensure the safety of our undercover officers and the integrity of the client. During what can be either a short-term insertion for a week or two under a temporary role from a recruitment company or a long-term insertion including up to 9 months having gone through the whole interview process the officer will not only fulfil therole for which they are being employed but also gather the evidence and intelligence or those issues that are causing concern within the organising company. Daily communication is maintained from our office with the undercover officer and daily reports are supplied to the client. This allows real-time information to be passed both ways in what can be an ever adapting, unfolding and changing working environment.
The insertion of an undercover officer into an organisation can have huge intelligence benefits by gathering primary evidence and information that otherwise would not be identified. The use of an undercover officer can be particularly useful when gathering evidence with subversive individuals in protest groups. It takes a specific set of skills to be able to insert an individual into an organisation with a credible cover story, including a record of previous employment and plausible reasons for applying for the role and living in the locality, allowing the officer to build relationships and friendships with work colleagues. This can give a huge strategical advantage to an organisation where it is suspected that protests or any kind of subversive or criminal activity is being planned. As all such intelligence and evidence is lawfully obtained this can be passed to the police or other enforcement agencies and be utilised by them as part of their intelligence gathering process.
