The country and the world are increasingly becoming a fractious, violent, tumultuous place of unrest.
With the huge increase in false media, false hype, conspiracy theorist and self-appointed unqualified ‘sleuths and hacks’, are the population being led more proactively towards protests and disruptive behaviour.
Organised and established protest groups actively seek the publicity to fuel their cause and many groups have international reach, as well as those more localised protest groups who equally seek local and national publicity.
From ‘Stop the Oil’, ‘Extinction Rebellion’ ‘Plane Stupid’ who are the more recognised organisations but localised protests can cause huge disruption, economic loss and fear for those who are the target of the protestors.
In this series, I will be helping you to better understand the mindset of the protestors. I will look at:

The protests can be any size and be a stand alone protest or be part of a coordinated group of actions. It can be hugely difficult to pre-empt disruption and have a strategy in place to contain the protest.
Clearly the large national organisations as mentioned previously are monitored by law enforcement and undercover reporters, but what about more localised and regional protests? In all protests the methods for:
